SUBJECT:       FINAL REMINDER: Member Input Needed on Proposed New
Position

The draft of the new potential joint position (ADA and American Society
for Nutrition) "Obesity, Reproduction and Pregnancy Outcomes" is now
available for member review and input. There will be a 30-day review and
comment period, which will conclude on July 7, 2008.

The final draft can be found by accessing the following Web site
address: www.eatright.org/positions or insert your member number at
www.eatright.org <http://www.eatright.org/>  and click on Position
Papers on the left side of the screen; then click on "MEMBER INPUT
NEEDED: Final Draft Review."

When you access the Web address you will find the following information:

1.      Background information on the position
2.      Link to the draft position
3.      Link to the Input Form

Please submit input (using the questions on the Input Form) by Monday,
July 7.   Please be reminded that the document is a DRAFT and should not
be circulated beyond the ADA membership until it has been finalized and
approved by the HOD Leadership Team.

If you know a member who does not have Internet access, they may request
a copy be mailed to them.  Please contact Nina Landrum at ADA
Headquarters to make your request (nlandrum at eatright.org or

Your input is critical to the process for approval of this new position
for the Association. The Association Positions Committee looks forward
