AODA member listserve -

ADA shared these voting results with us Affiliate leaders.  I don't see that the e-mail was also sent to all members, so I wanted to share it with you, along with a few of my thoughts and see if you can give us feedback.

I was disappointed by the low AODA member voting in the ADA election (we did a bit better in our local election where just over 7 percent voted, although there was only one candidate per position in the AODA election, which generally reduces participation).

If you have ideas how we can encourage AODA members to become more involved in the voting process for 
*  ADA (our mother organization) or 
*  AODA (as an Affiliate)
I would appreciate your thoughts.
