  In addition to the guide that Pat sent to you, I am also attaching a copy of the Caribbean Six Food Groups, the primary system used to develop the generic food guide for the Caribbean.  I say generic because some individual countries(at least 5) have used the FAO process and have developed a guide specific to their country and are currently engaged in promotion nationally.  When you are finished collecting all of these, I will appreciate getting a copy as a reference.

    Dear HEN and AODA members,

     

    Thanks to those of you who have already provided some suggestions regarding my earlier email about cooking demonstrations - it is greatly appreciated.

     

    Now I would like to ask you to send me any Food Guide Pyramids or Food Guides that you know of that are specific to a certain country or ethnic group.  I am working on a presentation to our Food Security Assistants that will show them different examples of Food Guides from around the world.
