Should MSH be awarded this opportunity, the project is estimated to begin in the summer/fall of 2007 and will last for three years, with the possibility of an additional follow-on year. ** Chief of Party*
The COP is responsible for the overall management and implementation of the program and serves as the primary liaison with USAID and the Government ofMalawi. Qualified candidates will have an advanced degree and at least 10 years of experience in managing and implementing Child Health programs in developing countries. Excellent English writing skills are required.
** Director of Administration and Financial Management*
The Director of Administration and Financial Management is responsible for the oversight of all administration and financial management functions, including accountability of the project. Qualified candidates will have earneda graduate degree in Accounting or Business, and have at least five years experience administering international development projects.
** Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor*
The M&E Advisor is responsible for the development of the project's performance management plan. Qualified candidates will have a degree and at least five years of relevant experience in developing country settings. ExcellentEnglish writing skills are required.
** Technical Advisors-Child Health and HIV/AIDS (2 positions)*
The Technical Advisors require at least five years of demonstrated experience in their relevant technical field in a developing country. Additional requirements include experience with community-based program implementation, communications and public relations, expertise in gender issues (including GBV), and excellent English writing skills.
