[AODA members] Is the movie Super Size me not appropriate for3rdgraders?

Thank you Elena and Liliana. I haad suggested the teacher to see it, she did and then she decided to show it to her class. Now she is telling everyone that it was my suggestion.  
  One thing for sure..Super size me does not show a varied diet and yes, if the super sized diet were to be followed  daily it would have health consequences...it would have been more appropriate to show segments of the movie and  not all of it. Again the teacher did not ask me to assist her in this. 
  Elena, do you have any suggestion as as far as web sites, publications etc.. that would be helpful to ES kids.

However it was, I believe that that's why you were invited to speak about 
nutrition and present obvioulsy 3rd grade materials. It was a misjudgement 
on her part to continue nutrition instruction on her own (most likely) 
without background knowledge of the content. Couldn't she have thought that 
if you did not show it to class was for a reason? And don't kids need some 
parental consent for watching movies if not rated PG????

The other point she should have had replied to the kids is that, overall is 
important to follow a healthy lifestyle and not be afraid of ONE meal (of 
course, if she really wanted to go to McD).

Obviously, she is a teacher and not a nutritrion instructor.
