[AODA members] Is the movie Super Size me not appropriate for3rdgraders?

Personally I have not seen the movie, but if Elena says is not an 
educational tool, and is not appropriate for 3rd graders, then absolutely 
she shouldn't have showed it.  Was this clarified with her though?

However it was, I believe that that's why you were invited to speak about 
nutrition and present obvioulsy 3rd grade materials. It was a misjudgement 
on her part to continue nutrition instruction on her own (most likely) 
without background knowledge of the content. Couldn't she have thought that 
if you did not show it to class was for a reason? And don't kids need some 
parental consent for watching movies if not rated PG????

The other point she should have had replied to the kids is that, overall is 
important to follow a healthy lifestyle and not be afraid of ONE meal (of 
course, if she really wanted to go to McD).

Obviously, she is a teacher and not a nutritrion instructor.
