AODA members, please contact Marian Coon directly if you are able to be 
considered as a speaker on Global Nutrition as outlined below.

Note that this came to us through a DPG, not directly to us as AODA, 
even though Marian looked on the ADA website.  We are working with ADA 
to get the AODA link and description on the public page titled 
'international', they have committed to adding it, it just hasn't been 
done quite yet. 

While we are working hard with ADA and other organizations to raise the 
profile and awareness of AODA, you can assist by letting others know you 
are a member of AODA, what AODA  is and how AODA can assist people in 
connecting with each other around the global for food and nutrition 
issues.  Being a speaker or writer helps in this area - so why not take 
the challenge?

    Association, the ADA's International Affiliate.  We have about 700

    Hi Mary Jo,

    I am an adjunct professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology
    (RIT) in Rochester NY and am helping to organize a day-long seminar
    on global health and healthcare to be held on Feb 7, 2008 at RIT. 
    Presentations to be given include medical tourism, biotechnology and
    software design for global health and medical device trends.  We are
    in need of a speaker, preferrably an RD, to talk 20-30 minutes about
    global nutrition and trends in nutrition over the next decade or two. 


    I was looking at the ADA websight and found your name a chair of the
    HEN DPG and was wondering if you might know of someone who may be
    interested and available to give the presentation.  I recognize that
    this is a tight time schedule.  I appreciate any insight you can
    provide and thank you for your kind consideration.  I'm happy to
