The British Dietetic Association wish to draw your attention to the attached document which could have implications for all EU dietitians working in industry or with the media or providing healthy eating advice to the general public in commercial communications.

Dear Judith,  

I am unsure whether other members are aware of the implications of this EU regulation that restrict Dietitians and other health professionals from providing healthy eating advice to the general public in commercial communications.  The letter attached gives the background and concerns the BDA has for its members working in industry or with the media. 

Could you please circulate the attached letter to members for discussion.
