Please post the below announcement to your list serves, Web sites etc. 
Please note it is time sensitive---ADA is requesting the responses by

  *CALL TO ACTION: NON-TRADITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTIONS NEEDED*

ADA is revising the reference entitled /Job Descriptions:  Models for 
the Dietetics Profession.  /The current book contains/ /core dietetics 
jobs.  ADA would like to add non-traditional jobs to the second 
edition.  If ADA is to move forward successfully on such a project, we 
need your assistance to collect current position (job) descriptions for 
RD and DTR positions in the areas listed below.  If you feel that other 
non-traditional dietetics-related positions should be added, please 
submit those job descriptions for review.  Even if you are 
self-employed, please feel free to submit your position description.

Remove all identifiable names (persons and facility) from the position 
description. *Submit by 5PM Central Time on September 21, 2007, *by fax, 
mail, or e-mail to the attention of Barbara Visocan (fax 312-899-4812, 
bvisocan at eatright.org <mailto:jobdescriptions at eatright.org>, American 
Dietetic Association, 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000,  Chicago, 
IL  60606).

 

Please note that parts of submitted position descriptions may be used in 
the /Job Descriptions /book, but in no case would ADA identify the 
source of the position descriptions.
