[AODA members] HEN International Scholarship - applications due May 1, 2007

Are you a Hunger and Environmental Member working Internationally?  This 
e-mail is for you!  If you are not yet a HEN member and are interested 
in a healthy sustainable food and water system, join the HEN DPG when 
you pay your ADA dues this year and you will be eligible for the 
scholarship in 2 years.

IS MAY 1ST, 2007)

The Hunger and Environmental Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group (HEN DPG) 
awards a one-year paid membership to the American Dietetic Association 
and to the Hunger and Environmental Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group to 
a HEN DPG member who is working internationally in the food security or 
sustainable food systems arenas.  One scholarship in the combined amount 
reflecting the dues costs for ADA and HEN membership will be awarded 
each year. 

 

Applicant Criteria:

    * HEN DPG member for the past two consecutive years.
    * Currently working internationally in the food security or
      sustainable food systems arenas.
    * Submit a completed application by the deadline accompanied with
      one letter of support.

Completed applications and one letter of support are due on May 1, 
2007.  Notification of the award will be made by May 15, 2007.   The HEN 
DPG will directly arrange dues payment to ADA.
