AODA members are making an impact all over the world!  Congratulations 
to the recipient of the 2007 AODA Affiliate Awards

The Outstanding Dietitian of the Year Award honors members who have made 
outstanding contributions to the organization, and is considered the 
highest level of recognition.  Eleni Andreou, RD, LD, PhD-candidate, a 
clinical dietitian and private consultant, was selected as the AODA 
Outstanding Dietitian of the Year.  Eleni is known as a person who sets 
high standards and goals and does not rest until she achieves them. She 
has made a great difference in the profession of Dietetics in Cyprus as 
the President for the last 10 years, and has had an influence on the 
profession in her country in many aspects including the law, the 
establishment of the profession, the education of the members and the 
public, and the initiation of research in Cyprus.  She has tirelessly 
worked as an example to other dietitians in the front lines to achieve 
the best for the profession.
